Here is Ellie enjoying her new favorite activity, painting! She calls it "colors." Mindy, we put that blow-up bath to good use as a multi-purpose mess container. She also uses it sometimes to eat in. If you look closely, you can see that she is also wearing a swim diaper that she put on herself. Actually, I helped pull it up after she waddled out with it around her ankles. We put this picture up on the fridge, and she is so proud of seeing her "pitchure" every day.

That's wonderful that she is doing art projects. When Jordan was little we did art projects every day. It really develops their small muscle control and the creative side of the brain as well. When I was teaching art I actually used painting to tutor a brain damaged boy and helped him learn to read. give yourselves a group hug from me.

What a great idea for the tub...I may have to pick up another one just for that purpose! I can't believe how long Ellie looks all stretched out on the floor like that. Do you need some additional magnets to hang her art work by chance?
